30% grammar/70% conversation, teen grammar classes use dynamic curriculum carefully developed to combine culture, pronunciation, vocabulary acquisition, conversation, and the introduction and review of key grammar points crucial to student success in high school. This program is ideal for students ages 10 to 16 who want to review or get ahead.

Our teen classes combine pronunciation, vocabulary acquisition, conversation, and the introduction and review of key grammar points crucial to student success. This program is ideal for students ages 10 to 16 who want to review or get ahead, or fulfill their High School Spanish requirements.
Expert instructor, María Harrington, has developed this interactive and dynamic curriculum based on 20 years of experience. Our small class sizes allow us to identify your teens’ challenges and customize the curriculum to optimize learning through fun and engaging activities via Zoom.
Course Descriptions
SPANISH I
Spanish I is perfect for students who want to feel prepared for starting middle school or high school Spanish I. We are also a-g approved for many homeschools, so students may receive high school credit by taking and fulfilling all requirements to receive a grade. Students will learn basic greetings, conversation, and vocabulary, as well as review the most important verb conjugations in the present tense.
SPANISH II
Spanish II is essential for students entering Spanish II or III. It will introduce and reinforce the key concepts students will need to get ahead for Spanish II or review to feel comfortable in Spanish III. This class will focus on the past tenses. We are also a-g approved for many homeschools, so students may receive high school credit by taking and fulfilling all requirements to receive a grade.
SPANISH III
Spanish III is a highly interactive class designed to expand students’ speaking, reading and listening skills. Students will focus on the future and the subjunctive, two grammar points vital for students who would like to get ahead for Spanish III or IV at their high school. We are also a-g approved for many homeschools, so students may receive high school credit by taking and fulfilling all requirements to receive a grade.
