TEEN Spanish 1 (A-G Approved) is a twelve-week high school Spanish course designed to build students’ ability to understand, speak, read, and write in Spanish while exploring the culture and history of the Spanish-speaking world. Students develop mastery of regular present-tense verbs (-AR, -ER, -IR), high-frequency “power verbs” such as quiero, necesito, tengo que, and puedo, and essential irregular present-tense verbs that allow for real communication. Throughout the course, students are evaluated on grammar accuracy, comprehension, communication strategies, and cultural awareness through structured, interactive practice. No prior Spanish coursework is required to enroll, and the class is A-G accredited for high school Spanish credit. Spring Break will be April 13-16.
